Add your class list and spin to call on a random student. Built for teachers — with elimination mode, bulk paste, and a counter so everyone gets a turn.
Paste your whole class list at once, spin to call on students randomly, and use elimination mode to make sure everyone gets a turn.
Once a student is picked they're greyed out and removed from the active pool. Keep spinning until every student has participated.
The counter shows how many students have been picked and how many are remaining — so you always know where you are in the class.
Our classroom spinner is designed specifically for teachers who need a fair, engaging way to call on students. Add your class list, spin the wheel, and the classroom spinner randomly selects a student — no bias, no favourites, completely random every time.
Students love the spin animation, and teachers love the elimination mode that tracks who has and hasn't been picked yet.
Type student names one at a time, or click "Bulk Paste" and paste your entire class list at once (one name per line). Then hit "Pick a Student" to spin. Use Normal mode to keep all students available every spin, or Elimination mode to remove each student after they've been picked.
Random selection eliminates unconscious bias in who gets called on. Students who know they might be picked at any moment stay more engaged and attentive. It's also fairer — every student has an equal chance of being selected regardless of where they sit or how often they volunteer.
